Introducing the Collegium of Alfaromancy!

I've long wanted to design a faction inspired by the hornero , a tireless builder bird native to South America. It's a creature known for the large clay nests that they skillfully create —and as a bonus, it's also the national bird of Argentina my home country ;).
The theme of this year gave me the possibility to do that, during the setup and at the end of each of your turn, you swarm the map  with mud tokens, a resource that fuel the faction’s strength but that is highly undervalued by the other factions (they do not get points for removing it), so it is very possible that it will accumulate on the map for your benefit.

The Collegium of Alfaromancy  is a society of scholarly horneros who use mud and obscure knowledge to craft powerfull constructs and impose their vision of order on the Woodland. This faction blends the artisan spirit of the hornero with a formal, academic arrogance. To them, even mud has purpose so long as it's properly applied.

The constructs were designed with flexibility and adaptatibity in mind. Each construct offers a distinct effect, and while in each game it is ideal to build all 4,their order of construction can vary from game to game depending on the situation and the opposing factions. This allows players to tailor their strategy—deploying the right construct at the right time—making each match feel fresh.

I know the review period hasn't started yet, I just want to say I absolutely adore this design and the theming around it. The action system has me a little concerned that you might just not be able to play if you draw too many foxes in the early game, but the scavenging for mud seems like a lot of fun.

Would the vagabond be able to purchase from the collector?

Thank you very much for the kind words :) As for the question about the collector, no, he couldn't take out the items for you, I believe we can agree that hurting that pesky vagabond a bit isn't so bad haha.
